We did find that the audio controls required some time to master and felt that the steering wheel could use a couple more inches of telescoping travel.
Also, the horizontal dash brightwork looks great, but it caused reflections in the side windows that washed out the side mirrors. Opt for this pack and skip the navigation, and you get a nifty text-only display in place of the nav screen that allows the driver to toggle through various readings such as current and average fuel economy, fuel range, average speed, and vehicle settings.
New Cars. Buyer's Guide. Put a few hundred miles on it, refill, calculate the mileage, and get back to us …. MPG: No one believes me about the MPG, I dont care. I saw it. I only did it once because driving so slow is so boring. Dont recall about my tire pressure; and surely I did not use cruise control. I always get between mpg.
I drive agressively when I want and usually cruise the highways around 80mph and still maintain that average. I own a 07 3 hatchback 2. Of course highway driving will get better gas mileage but who drives only highway? I also own a v6 98 Honda Accord and it gets better gas mileage than me Mazda 3!!
Last edited by Fuyuzora; at PM. Seems to apply to this discussion. Is it crazy to think I should be able to get 20? I try to tell myself it doesn't matter - talking about a couple hundred dollars a year - but it irritates me because for what it is, and for it's lack of torque, I expect more.

Which while not earth-shattering, is a respectable enough figure I think. There is another thread of another member with very similar fuel mileage issue. Maybe you could give it a read for more suggestions. I have a 2. I also blame the weather fuel formulas. Originally Posted by ottoyu So how much is that per tank?
Finally, cold air contains less oxygen, which means your engine will generate less power. This effect becomes significant at sub-zero Celsius. Oxygen content per unit volume of air and temperature have a negative relationship due to thermal expansion; colder air contains more oxygen and nitrogen, and carbon dioxide, etc.
